Spidey started off as 1998 Aprilia RSV1000 Mille but has seriously evolved over the years! Here's some of what has been done; 'Dunlop' slicks are fitted to 'OZ' Magnesium lightweight wheels. Twin 'Braking' wave discs on the front are gripped by 'Brembo' four pad calipers using 'Performance Friction' brake pads fed by 'Goodrich' stainless steel hoses. 'Ohlins' front forks have been re-valved by suspension experts 'K-Tech'.
Rear suspension is taken care by 'Ohlins' re-valved by K-Tech and operated by a 2003 spec linkage. Rearsets are 'Valter Moto' with carbon fibre heel guards.
Rear 'Oz' Magnesium wheel with a 'Talon' alloy rear sprocket and a blue 'Afam' 520 chain. 'R&G' toeguard and stand bobbins are fitted to the standard swinging arm. The extension to the rear wheel spindle is to aid with quick wheel changes.
The engine has been tuned by 'FW Developments' using racing cams, oversize stainless steel valves and increased compression ratio. An 'STM' slipper clutch is fitted. A full 'Akrapovic' exhaust system with 'Thermo-tec' heat banding wrapped headers takes care of the spent gases. 'R&G' crash protectors are fitted to limit crash damage.
'Harris' hinged clip-ons with 'Renthal' grips, 'Euro Racing' quick action throttle and 'PVM' adjustable ratio master cylinder on the right.
'Allmond Engineering' thumb rear brake on the left.
'Techtronics' quick shifter, 'Talon' front sprocket and 'MPL Tuning Parts' clutch slave cylinder.
Three fluid reservoirs with 'HRC' clear hoses feed front brake, rear brake and clutch master cylinders.
Fuel is fed through a pair of 57mm throttle bodies, metered by a 'USB Power Commander 3'. Air is ram-fed into the carbon factory airbox.
